My buddy Shay died Tuesday morning :(
I hope she's in doggie heaven eating butter and bacon and canned dog food galore.
Here are some of my favorite photos of her. I REALLY loved that dog!!
Here she is preparing for doggie heaven:
Singing me a song
Giving mom puppy eyes
Hot dog
Snoozing with me
Enjoying a bone
Waiting for a baby to drop food stuffs
Best friends with my mom
Best lumpiest dog ever!!

Merry Christmas
My new camera has a filming function, and this week I decided to try it out. Our friends Meredeth and Jake have this darling video of themselves and their daughter walking around and smiling with Christmas music in the background- like a movie-Hallmark card. And since Todd and I don't have kids yet, I wanted to copy their cute idea and use the cat instead.
We're off to Patagonia next Friday! I'm so excited, and I plan to take about a million photos :)
Happy Holidays to all!

Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving! After eating with my family, Todd and I headed to St. George for the long weekend with our friend Bryce. We biked and climbed, and we had perfect weather. I am thankful for vacations! (Tis the season to thankful, right?)
Todd on the Cougar Cliffs
Me toproping at Gap Creek (I know toproping is kinda lame, but I'm just getting back into climbing after a looooong break. So give me a break. ;)

Yosemite
We went to Yosemite again in October. Becca and I left the boys after a couple days and did some kayaking on Lake Tahoe. What a trip! We already have plans to return to Yosemite next Spring so Todd can tackle some more big wall projects.
Here's Todd hanging a ladder.
Mark just hanging out
Todd eating some lunch (never mind that he's on a tiny ledge hundreds of feet above the ground!)
While Todd and Mark tackled big walls, Becca and I hiked Yosemite Falls and swam in the pooles that have been carved out by falling water.
Todd's two loves: me and his climbing equipment. ha ha
El Capitan- most beautiful and amazing cliff in Yosemite and the world for all I know.
Here's the semi-wildlife of Yosemite:

And I just love this picture:
