We visited Glacier National Park for our first time ever. It was amazing!! There was so much to do in Glacier, as well as at the resort we stayed at. (Thanks Mom and Dad!!!!!) This was the best trip we've been on with kids. And that's saying a lot!
The outdoors is such a big part of our lives. |
The girls did great! Lydia got a little restless during the drive up, but otherwise was pleasant and happy the whole trip. She is a multi tasker and while we hiked she could nap, breastfeed, smile at passers by, and take in her surroundings. Not all at the same time.
Look comfy? |
Nay had fun too.
|
Ice cream at sunset with this view and my favorite people? Yes please! The only thing that could put a damper on this was an accidental poop in the pants. I will let you guess who's pants lol. |
One of the heated pools, all to ourselves! |
Our condo. We bbq'd and hot tubbed frequently! |
Apgar Village looking at Lake McDonald during sunrise. |
The leaves were stunning in East Glacier! |
We saw lots of bears (from a safe distance) but no grizzlys. |
Diving for dinner |
This was the most ferocious animal by far. The chipmunks were much bolder than I was comfortable with! |
We spent a full day at this lakeside cabin. We had the whole place to ourselves because it was the slow season! |
Roasted marshmallows after a bbq dinner on the lake. What a fabulous day! |
Happy girl! Content almost all the time. |
Starting Avery on the paddle board. Next step: surfing! |
I just love this girl! |
And this one too!! |
Daddy daughter kayak date. |
We saw tons of mountain goats. They fearlessly bounded up and down the cliffs, it was so cool to watch! |
Hidden Lake |
Jumping, can you see the 1/2 inch of space between her shoes and the rock? |
Avery inspecting a fuzzy caterpillar |
The rocks were so colorful. This curvy river was beautiful to look at. |
Sister love. |
Little hiker |
The stunning Avalanche Lake. |
Poor stinker, look at the ridiculous stuff we put her in! |
