Glacier National Park

We visited Glacier National Park for our first time ever.  It was amazing!!  There was so much to do in Glacier, as well as at the resort we stayed at.  (Thanks Mom and Dad!!!!!)  This was the best trip we've been on with kids.  And that's saying a lot!

The outdoors is such a big part of our lives.

The girls did great!  Lydia got a little restless during the drive up, but otherwise was pleasant and happy the whole trip.  She is a multi tasker and while we hiked she could nap, breastfeed, smile at passers by, and take in her surroundings.  Not all at the same time.

Lydia's first time swimming.  She seemed to enjoy it but got cold fast.  I guess she's not as well insulated as she looks.

Avery did well too, she could hike up to 2 miles before tuckering out and napping in the backpack. She liked watching shows in the car, and really loved all the hiking, swimming, hot-tubing, and playing she got to do.

This was the most ferocious animal by far.  The chipmunks were much bolder than I was comfortable with!

We spent a full day at this lakeside cabin.  We had the whole place to ourselves because it was the slow season!

We saw tons of mountain goats.  They fearlessly bounded up and down the cliffs, it was so cool to watch!
